Teluk Intan

Teluk Intan is a town located in the state of Perak in Malaysia. The town has lots of historical architectural buildings and the famous one is the Malaysia’s Pisa Tower a.k.a. The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan.

It is 25.5 metres tall and, from the exterior despite it’s as though of 8 storey , actually it’s merely a 3 storeys building. It is also known as the Clock Tower and was to store water for the locals during drought season, in case of fire

From Wikipedia source, the leaning of the tower is due to the soft ground on which it was built, as well as the weight of the water in the water tank, which causes it to lean towards the southwest

Besides the leaning tower, Teluk Intan is famous for FOOD ! We have famous rojak, rice noodles, laksa, and lots more ! come to us and our guests are provided with a foodie map guide.
